<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the lump of a molten metal in a coolant charging guide and to smooth charging by charging a fresh coolant after the coolant charged into a melting furnace begins to melt at the rear end part of the coolant at the time of supplying the coolants, such Al ingots, to an instantaneous melting device. CONSTITUTION:The coolant A1 sent to the position above the coolant charging guide 1 by a coolant supplying device 2 is supplied to the guide 1 and the supplied coolant A2 is charged by its own weight into the melting furnace 3. The charged coolant A3 is heated by the effect of an induction coil 32 to the molten metal which is allowed to flow out of an outflow port 33 to the heating up furnace. The fresh coolant is charged into the guide 1 after the rear end part of the supplied coolant A2 begins to melt. The existence of the coolant in the cold state in the guide 1 is obviated by this method and, the coolant A2 is smoothly charged by its own weight into the melting furnace without generating the lump of the molten metal.</p> |
