The pneumatic cylinder (1) drives a thrust rod (3) whose outer end carries the centre link of the knee linkage comprising two arms (4,5) linked at the rod. One arm has its free end with a sliding mounting in a groove (10) while the other arm is linked to the pivot mounted tensioning lever (6).
