Scrubber for removing pollutant gas components comprises: a number of nozzles (15) for introducing and spraying the scrubbing liquid over the scrubber cross-section; a scrubber sump to collect the scrubbing liquid; a scrubber inlet connection; and a scrubber outlet connection. Elements producing pressure loss are arranged on the scrubber wall or near to the walls.
