The printing press can be set to several use widths. It has at least one roll applying ink or dampened including a through roll core (2) with a jacket device on it having a rubber covering layer. It has sectors (6) divided by a spacing groove (5) from each other. The jacket device has at least one sector (3b) fixed to the roll core, and at least one sector (3a) able to be moved sideways by the width of a spacing groove, which can be fixed to the roll core or released from it by means of a holding device integrated with the roll core.
