Outdoor surface blower with back-pack engine powered drive unit

The blower unit has an internal combustion engine carried on the back of the operator which provides a stream of air to clear refuse from, or spray liquids on, the ground. The intake air for the engine is derived from the forced air draught of the fan through a tube and filter in the air stream. The power unit, carried on the back of an operator, comprises at least one internal combustion engine supplied with air through a filter (15) and diverted from the fan (5) compressed air stream (6) through an angled tube (8).
