PURPOSE:To obtain inexpensive picture transmission equipment capable of transmitting the drawing or the character of good resolution in respect of a system to transmit a video signal such as a TV conference system, etc. CONSTITUTION:An input video signal is converted into a digital signal by a pre-processing part 21, and after stored once, it is outputted to two groups. Two groups of output signals are encoded by encoders 22a, 22b respectively, and are sent to transmission lines 3a, 3b respectively. The signals sent to the transmission lines 3a, 3b are received and decoded by two decoders 41a, 41b. The output signals from these decoders 41a, 41b are stored once in a post- processing part 42, and this stored data is read out 10 predetermined order, and the video signal is obtained by converting it into the analog signal. |
