The rolls (2) of merchandise are held by two pivot mounted, parallel, circular discs (4) directly fixed to a shelving unit (1) or fixed by means of a intermediate part (5). The discs or intermediate part are detachably fixed to the shelving unit. The facing side surfaces of the discs have spaced apart hooked fixtures (11) for the ends of the rolls. The discs turn on a main axle especially running through the centre of gravity (10) of the discs which are joined by an especially hollow profiled telescopic connection (9). The intermediate part consists of a frame with two side holders (8) fixed by fastenings especially hooks (16) to the shelving unit.
