Brake system for rail vehicle with exchangeable bogies for different gauges

The brake system for rail vehicles with exchangeable bogies for travelling on tracks of different gauge, e.g. standard gauge and Russian broad gauge. It has a air pressure control valve (1) whose parameters correspond to the requirements for the travel of a rail vehicle on tracks of different gauges and which contains the one first automatic load mechanism for travel on narrow gauge track. There are also brake cylinders (3) connected to the pressure control valve, a reservoir (4) and a second automatic load mechanism (5) having a loading transmitter and a relay for travel on broad gauge. Between the pressure control valve and the second automatic load mechanism is located a changeover switch (6) which has a housing with four chambers (10-13), of which the first is connected to the valve, the second with the input to the relay, the third with the output of the relay and the fourth with the brake cylinder.
