PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image with high image quality even in the case of magnification and reduction when both digital filter processing and magnification reduction processing are applied to an input image. SOLUTION: When a high magnification reduction rate SCR higher than a threshold level TH is designated by a UI (user interface) 2, a select signal generating section 67 outputs a selection signal SL to select an A input and each of selectors 64-66 selects the A input. Thus, image data are processed in the order of digital filter processing and magnification reduction processing. On the other hand, when the UI 2 designates a magnification reduction rate SCR lower than the threshold level TH, the select signal generating section 67 outputs a selection signal SL to select a B input and each of the selectors 64-66 selects the B input. Thus, the image processing is applied to the image data in the order of magnification reduction processing and digital filter processing. |
