摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the troublesomeness involved at a wicket in a simple structure and to widen the visual field of a person in charge by placing a human body detection means at the entrance of a wicket path to irradiate the ultrasonic waves and detecting the height of a user by receiving the reflected ultrasonic waves. SOLUTION: A head 3 of an ultrasonic sensor sends the ultrasonic waves received from the sensor built into a main body (a) and also receives the reflected waves. Thus, the sensor is placed on the surface of a easing a1 at the entrance of a wicket path P so as to irradiate the ultrasonic waves toward the entrance of the path P. The meshed parts shown in the diagram show the detecting ranges of the head 3, i.e., the sensor. When a user (a) approaching to the path P is detected via an approach sensor 4, the head 3 irradiates the ultrasonic waves. Then the detection signal detected by the ultrasonic wave sensor is inputted to a controller which has a central processing part where the height of the user is detected and an arithmetic processing is performed to decide an adult or a child.
