PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble of overlap feeding at the time of printing by preventing a blocking in a medium to be recorded ink jet, wherein a dye receiv ing layer contains interlayer compound which receives and holds water soluble dye by an intercalation reaction. SOLUTION: The medium 10 to be recorded by ink jet comprises a dye receiving layer 1 formed of interlayer compound for receiving and holding water soluble dye by an intercalation reaction and binder resin. In this case, the layer 1 contains two types of nylon particles having different mean particle sizes in such a manner that weight ratio of the particles having larger mean particle size to the particles having smaller mean particle size (content of the particles having large mean particle size/content of the particles having small mean particle size) is larger than 1/2. |
