PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the inconvenience that the heat generated from a heat application process part invites deterioration of print quality, by setting an insulating member between the heat application process part processing to apply heat to a print medium after ink-jet printed and an ink-jet print part. SOLUTION: An insulating member 161 is a member having a space in which an air layer for insulation can be contained. The insulating member is arranged so as to separate a cartridge 11 storing a print medium 1, a loop part of the print medium 1 and a print unit 20 from a fixing unit 70 and a decurl unit 80. An excessive evaporation over a natural evaporation amount rather lowers ink-jet print quality because of a lot of steam and water drops. Therefore, a discharge ink-storing part 25 is arranged above the insulating member 161, thereby eliminating influences of heat from a heat application process part and preventing the discharge ink from being evaporated excessively. |
