PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parts feeder which easily treats a cover tape removed from a carrier tape. SOLUTION: A feeder main body 170 of a parts feeder has a parts containing reel around which a tape of circuit parts is rolled, a feeding device to feed a carrier tape, a tape removing device to remove a cover tape 154 from the carrier tape, and a guide pipe 246. The tip end of an air injection nozzle 254 is engaged with the guide pipe 246 in a diagonally downward direction. The air injection nozzle 254 supplies or cuts compressed air by switching a solenoid valve 260. The feeding device has motors 202 and 226. The tape removing device removes the cover tape 154 when feeding the carrier tape. The removed cover tape 154 is placed into the guide pipe 246, and sent downward by an air stream caused by the compressed air infected by the air injection nozzle 254. |
