PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly prevent an accident by ultraviolet rays and ozone generated by a malfunction. SOLUTION: In this emitter, a recessed place 18 is formed on one surface of a case 12, and an ultraviolet lamp 20 and a safety member 34 are housed in the recessed place 18, and the safety member 34 has a cover part 36 to open- close an opening part of the recessed place 18 by rotating around the ultraviolet lamp 20 in the recessed place 18 and a lug part 40 to rotatably operate the cover part 36. A safety switch 58 to switch ON or OFF by interlocking with rotary operation of the cover part 36 by the lug part 40, is arranged in the case 12, and is constituted so that in a condition where the cover part 36 closes the opening part of the recessed place, the safety switch 58 is turned off, and the ultraviolet lamp 20 does not radiate, and in a condition where the cover part 36 opens the opening part of the recessed place, the safety switch 58 is turned on, and the ultraviolet lamp 20 radiates. |
