<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automatic alignment of icons which respects the original arrangement pattern of icons as much as possible by allocating a candidate that has the highest priority among plural candidates to an alignment destination with respect to the alignment destination for which plural candidates are decided. SOLUTION: An icon 1 is allocated to an alignment destination, and an icon 2 is allocated to an alignment destination 2. In such cases, icons 3 and 4 which remain as a candidate are made preferential candidates for the next alignment destination 3, maintaining their priority. Then, the icon 3 is allocated to the alignment destination 3, and the icon 4 and a blank candidate which remain in the allocation are made candidates through allocation processing for the next alignment destination 4, maintaining the priority relation. Such processing is carried out in each alignment reference direction. i.e., an area is expanded until all of icons that are made candidates in one alignment reference direction are allocated, thereby automatically aligning each icon.</p> |
