PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the collection time of information by connecting again a master unit to another slave unit via a radio circuit under the control of an external device after the information on a meter are collected and without cutting the circuit connection between the master unit and the external device and then collecting the information on the meter that is connected to the slave unit. SOLUTION: An external device is connected to a master unit via a circuit (1), and a slave unit of a meter is connected to the master unit via a radio circuit (2). The communication is carried out with a 1st meter and the information on this meter is collected (3). The external device ends the communication with the 1st meter (4). The radio circuit connection is cut between the slave unit and the master unit (5), and an answer telegraphic message is replied to the external unit from the master unit (6). Then the master unit is connected to another slave unit via a ratio connection without cutting the circuit connection between the external device and the master unit (7). The external unit instructs the master unit to perform the next collection of information, and the master unit collects the information on a 2nd meter (8). |
