PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner leakage before and after use and to improve operability by closing a discharge port for discharging toner from a toner cartridge by two steps, that is, a shutter device and a seal member. SOLUTION: A path from an aperture part constituting a path for discharging the toner from the toner cartridge to a toner supply port through a slit hole 219a and the toner discharge port is sealed by two steps, that is, the shutter device 203 and a gate seal 210. The shutter device 203 prevents the toner leakage at the time of operating the toner cartridge, and sealing performance against the toner leakage at the time of transportation is secured by the seal 210. The seal 210 is superposed on the gate and covers over the slit hole 219a so as to prevent the toner leakage from the slit hole 219a of the gate of the toner cartridge in an unuse state. The end side of the seal 210 which has been folded back is exposed to the outside through a seal pulling slit 201a, so that peeling operation is facilitated. |
