摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing device capable of performing high-quality developing operation in a state where an operation life is prolonged by drastically improving the ratio of the magnetic particles of developer contributing to the developing operation or electrifying operation for toner. SOLUTION: In this device; a photoreceptor 10 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed and a developing roller 2 having a magnet layer 2a where plural magnetic poles are formed in the axial direction of a peripheral surface by alternately arranging different poles in a peripheral direction are rotatably arranged to be proximately opposed. The developer including the magnetic particles and the toner is held on the surface of the roller 2 by the magnetic pole and supplied to the electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor 10 so as to develop it to a toner image. An agitator 4 stirring the magnetic particles and the toner is arranged with reference to the roller 2 so that the stirring range 4b of the blade part 4a of the agitator 4 may cross with the magnetic force range 2b of the magnet layer 2a of the roller 2, whereby the ratio of the electrifying particles contributing to the development or the electrification of the toner is increased, the operation life is prolonged, and the high-quality image having neither surface staining nor toner scattering is formed.
