PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an identification system to report the completion of communications after an ID code on an ID card has been read. SOLUTION: An ID code is retained in the memory 16 of an 10 card 10. When a card reader 20 has read the ID code from the nearby ID card 10, it reports the completion of communications by means of an indicator lamp 27. Thereafter, the process of asking a host computer 30 whether or not the ID code is a permitted one is executed, and if the ID code coincides with the permitted one, the lock of a door is undone via a door lock control device 31. |
