PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly and visually confirm a guide wire by a monitor image by an MRI. SOLUTION: This guide wire 1A is composed of a core material 2 and a covering layer 3 to cover an outside surface of the core material 2, and has flexibility over its almost total length. The core material 2 has proper rigidity and elasticity. A constitutive material of the core material 2 is desirably formed of a weak magnetic substance or a nonmagnetic substance. The covering layer 3 is composed of a material by dispersing magnetic particles 4 in an organic high polymer material. The magnetic particles 4 are composed of a magnetic substance or a magnetic material containing it. It is particularly and desirably composed of transition metal or alloy containing the transition metal or a complex compound. |
