PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front surface glass panel for a plasma display having good transmission performance, shieldability of electromagnetic waves and further good shieldability in a near IR region. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic shieldable glass pane formed by coating the surface of a transparent glass pane 10 with an ITO film is constituted by using the transparent glass pane as a heat ray absorptive glass pane or forming an antireflection film 40 on the other surface of the transparent glass pane and coating the one surface thereof with the ITO film 20 having an area resistant of <=3.5 Ω/square and coating the surface of this ITO film with reflection decreasing layers (low reflecting layers) which consist of a low-refractive index layer 31 and a high-refractive index layer 32 and are transparent in a visible region. As a result, the glass panel having the high transmissibility in the visible light region, the good shieldability in a near IR region of <=70% in IR transmittance at a wavelength of 900 nm and the good shieldability to electromagnetic waves adequate as the front surface panel for the plasma display is obtd. |
