PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a notch due to repeating of recording and erasing by providing a protective layer containing curable resin containing filler on a reversible thermal recording layer containing thermoplastic resin having a specific weight-average molecular weight. SOLUTION: A protective layer containing curable resin and filler is provided on a reversible thermal recording layer. As the resin, resin having a group reacted with crosslinking agent such as hydroxyl group or carboxyl group is used. As the filler, metal oxide or metal sulfide is used as inorganic filler, and styrene resin or acrylic resin is used as organic filler. The recording layer contains thermoplastic resin having a value (value in terms of polystyrene) of 300,000 or more as weight-average molecular weight decided by a gel permeation chromatography method. As usable thermoplastic polymer compound, olefin polymer, acrylic polymer, styrene polymer or vinyl polymer. |
