PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing an image from being copied on a transfer material in a stage with the image inclined and capable of arranging the printing position of the image to the transfer material so that a transfer image with high quality can be obtained. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an image carrier 111 on the surface of which an electrostatic latent image is formed corresponding to an original image, a developing means 113 forming a toner image on the image carrier 111 by supplying toner to the electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the carrier 111 and visualizing the electrostatic latent image, a transfer means 117 transferring the toner image on the carrier 111 to the transfer material 114, a carrying means 115 feeding the transfer material 114 to the means 117 in a specified timing, a detecting means 122 detecting the inclined state of the material 114 before the material 114 is fed to the means 117 by the means 115, and a means for changing the position where the electrostatic latent image is formed with respect to the carrier 111 in accordance with the inclined state of the material 114 detected by the means 122 and aligning the transfer image with the material 114. |
