PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a need to cover a drain piping with a heat insulation material by a method wherein drain generated at the cooling coil of an evaporator is warmed by a piping running from a condenser to an expansion valve and discharged. SOLUTION: Drain generated by the refrigerating coil of an evaporator 4 is received by a pan 8 and the drain is collected at a drain piping 9. By locating a pump 10 in the drain piping 9, one end of the drain piping is introduced to the outer periphery of a piping 11 between a condenser 2 and an expansion valve 3 and a specified length is extended along the outer periphery thereof. The spot forms a heat-exchanger 12 for drain and a drain piping 9 extending through the drain heat-exchanger 12 is led out to the outside of a house. Further, a device to heat the drain piping 9 to a room temperature by using the piping 11 suffices for a heat-exchanger 12 for drain. As noted above, when drain in a drain piping 9 is heated to a room temperature, a difference between the room temperature and an outside air temperature is eliminated and vapor condensation is prevented from occurring. |
