PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operativity by inserting an operation rod into the lumen of a hollow tube and welding the tip part of the operation rod to the adjacent to the tip of the hollow tube. SOLUTION: An operation rod 2 is inserted in the lumen of a hollow tube 1 and the tip part of the operation rod 2 is welded to the adjacent to the tip of the hollow tube 1. The hollow tube 1 of a shape deformation guide wire is inserted from the end of a catheter which is inserted in the internal blood vessel from the outside of the body and advances approximately 15 cm from the tip of the catheter. Secondly, the adjacent of the end of the shape deformation guide wire is held by one hand, the hollow tube 1 is fixed by the thumb and the forefinger, and the operation rod 2 is advanced approximately 3 cm in the tip direction by the other fingers, the tip part, of the hollow tube 1 is bent. If necessary, when the finger tip or the wrist is rotated, the hollow tube 1 is rotated. When the tip of the hollow tube 1 reaches a target position, the operation rod 2 is retreated and the shape deformation guide wire is removed from the catheter. |
