PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation cell which is not disrupted even if it is formed in a multilayer shape and can maintain an output characteristic by adding metallic fiber to ZrO2 powder containing Y2 O3 by a specific quantity, and using conductive ceramics obtained by molding this as the power generation cell of a solid electrolyte fuel cell. SOLUTION: Metallic fiber having a wire diameter of 0.02 to 0.1 mm and a length of 100 mm, is added by 5 to 20% at volume ratio to ZrO2 powder containing Y2 O3 by 8 mol.% as a power generation cell of a solid electrolyte fuel cell, and press molding is performed on this under a pressure of 300 kg/cm<2> . This mold is sintered at 1500 deg.C for two hours in a vacuum, and a thin film of conductive ceramics is obtained by grinding work. La0.8 Sr0.2 MnO3 and Ni-ZrO2 cermet is baked on the obverse and reverse of this thin film, and the power generation cell is manufactured. The fact that ceramics 8 and the metallic fiber 9 are compounded on a cross section of the power generation cell is confirmed. When the metallic fiber 9 exceeds 0.1 mm, performance of an electrolyte is deteriorated. |
