PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device where a micro application agent does not adhere to a non-applied portion on an applied body. SOLUTION: With respect to a coating device which performs the intermittent application to a lithium ion secondary battery, etc., if an relief angle X between a doctor blade 7 and the applied surface is set in the range from 90 deg. to 180 deg. in order to prevent an application agent 17 from scattering on a non-applied portion when the application agent 17 on metal foil 15 is scraped off by the doctor blade 7, an adhesive quantity of the application agent 17 on the opposite side 7a to a stagnation portion 9 of the application agent 17 of the doctor blade 7 is reduced when the application agent 17 is scraped off by the doctor blade 7. The formation of a micro application agent on the surface of the non- applied portion 19 of the metal foil 15 is prevented, then the yield of a metal foil product is improved. |
