<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce a manufacturing cost by mechanization of fabrication work by providing a bridge with a bridge bed part mounted atop a soundboard and a bridge body mounted atop this bridge bed part. SOLUTION: After the so-called camber of the soundboard 4 to build up the front surface of the soundboard 4 by about, for example, 10 mm, is formed, the rear surface of the bridge bed part 10 is planed to meet this camber. The planed rear surface of the bridge bed part 10 is thereafter adhered atop the soundboard 4. Soundboard buttons and wood screws are connected to the bridge bed part 10 from the rear surface side of the soundboard 4, by which the bridge bed part 10 is securely fixed to the soundboard 4 and the manufacture of a soundboard assembly is completed. On the other hand, the bridge body 11 is manufactured by machining and bridge pins 5 are driven into the prepared holes bored atop the bridge body 11, by which the work of the stage for manufacturing the bridge body 11 is completed. The rear surface of the bridge body 11 is adhered atop the bridge bed part 10 fixed to a bracepost and inner rim assembly. Then, the manufacturing cost is reduced by the mechanization of the fabrication work.</p> |
