PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation vessel enabling the growth a plant growing downward and prolonging the life of the medium and the plant. SOLUTION: A vessel base 6 is connected to a protection case 2 consisting of an upper case 3 and a lower case 4 interposing a packing 5 therebetween. The lower case is provided with a medium holding part 42 for holding a medium 7, a medium supporting part 41 having the shape of a round bar and supporting the holding part and a flange part 43 positioned under the supporting part 41. The lower end of the supporting part 41 is connected to the flange part 43 having a tapered face 43d and the upper end is connected to the medium holding part 42. A water-feeding port 41a is opened from the side of the flange 43 toward the axis of the supporting part and another water-feeding hole 41b is extended upward from the water-feeding port 41a to the lower end of the medium. The water droplet dropped to the flange part 43 is passed through the tapered face, the water-feeding port 41a and the water-feeding hole 41b and supplied to the medium 7. The plant S planted on the medium 7 is grown downward from both sides of the medium holding part 42. |
