The torque limiter clutch comprises coaxial driving and driven hubs (1,2;101,102), held against one another, so as to transmit torque by means of torque transmission elements (3)(e.g. rollers), by first pressing means (6;106) comprising a single-acting fluid-pressure linear drive unit (8;108)(e.g. cylinder (81) and piston (82)), opposed by elastic means (9). To the linear drive unit (108) may be attached a device (200) which increases the force developed by the unit to allow the clutch to transmit high levels of torque. <IMAGE> |
