<p>A self-centering ball bearing consists of a clutch release sleeve and a thin, dish-shaped, radial thrust outer and inner ring (1, 2) with a row of balls inserted therein. The balls are mutually separated by means of a guide retainer (4) behind which, there is a radial gasket (5) arranged on the inner face of the outer ring (1). The balls (3) are set in the inner recess of the outer ring (1) and on the outer recess of the inner ring (2), in the inner opening wherein a cylindrical part (61) of the clutch release sleeve with radial segmental projections, which are one-side bevelled from the axial face of the outer ring (1), is coaxially embedded. In front of the projections, there is a radial tower ring (62) arranged on the cylindrical part (61) of the clutch release sleeve. The tower ring (61) is frontally set into the inner ring (2) having a radial free play. The tower ring (61) is further provided with longitudinal openings in front of the outer radial segmental projections on the cylindrical part (61) of the clutch release sleeve providing that the outer face of the inner ring (2) is axially connected by outer longitudinal axial projections of a cylindrical spring (7) with the outer projections of the cylindrical part (61) of the clutch release sleeve.</p> |
