PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of noise so as to improve the operating feeling by providing an electronic control valve in an oil pressure line, which is extended from a hydraulic pump and divided to a cylinder and a return passage, and for controlling the flow to the cylinder and a control unit for controlling the electronic control valve on the basis of the signal from position sensors. SOLUTION: When a piston 32 comes close to stoppers 51, 52 with the operation of a steering wheel, position sensors 101, 102 sense this movement, and sends a signal to a control unit 100. The control unit 100 compares this signal with a stored data, and controls the flow of the operating oil to be supplied from a hydraulic pump 50 to a cylinder 40, or cuts the supply of the operating oil so as to raise the the steering wheel operating force, and operating speed of the piston 32 is damped down. Consequently, a sudden collision of the piston 32 with the stoppers 51, 52 is prevented, and generation of noise due to the sudden collision of the piston with the stoppers is prevented. |
