PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthesizer for acoustic signals for virtual sound image localization where a distance from a listener is used for a setting object of an object position and a definite relation between the object position and an acoustic transfer function or a variable reflecting it is realized in a series of the processing. SOLUTION: A synthesizer receives acoustic signals x1 (t), x2 (t) of each system, a convolution arithmetic coefficient calculation section 53 calculates convolution arithmetic coefficients of the x1 (t), x2 (t) of each system and each of left and right channels. Convolution sections (21-1R/21-1L/21-2R/21-2L) use them to apply convolution arithmetic operation to the received acoustic signal, a propagation time estimate section 54 estimates a propagation time of the x1 (t), x2 (t) of each system, and each of the light/left channels, delay sections (22-1R/22-1L/22-2R/22-2L) apply a delay to the propagation time and intensity correction sections (23-1R/23-1L/23-2R/23-2L) apply intensity correction to each system and each of the left/right channels depending on a distance between the listener and the object position, and the resulting acoustic signals are outputted to each of the left/right channels. |
