PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an org.-inorg. composite material proof against fire and heat. SOLUTION: A powdery hydraulic inorg. material is mixed with an org. foaming agent and water and the foaming agent is foamed to obtain the objective composite foamed body ensuring satisfactory fire resistance of the inorg. material and satisfactory heat insulating property of the resultant foamed erg. body. When an inorg. material contg. water of crystallization or generating noncombustible gas, e.g. Al(OH)3 , CaCO3 or NaHCO3 is further added, fire resistance is further improved. |
