Energy stored during auxiliary acceleration is supplied from an inverter circuit 3 to the rotary machine 2, and a drive force is given to an internal combustion engine. By doing this, the repetition number of times of charging/discharging of the battery 5 can be reduced, and the life and maintenance period of the battery can be made long.
