PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable path-guiding device for pedestrians with a timemonitoring function for reporting to the pedestrians so that they are in time for an arrival time along with a path guidance to a destination when a desired time for arriving at the destination is set. SOLUTION: A guiding device has a walking speed calculation means, a means 136 for calculating a traveling distance to a destination, and a means 137 for calculating a required time in the path-guiding device for pedestrians that guides a path for pedestrians according to road map information and the current position information of the pedestrians, thus calculating a destination anival time. At the same time, the device has a timemonitoring function for outputting an alarm signal by comparing the calculated destination arrival time with a desired arrival time. |
