<p>An outer layer of sheet-metal is combined with a further one of the same material, also one of melamine-foam. A hard-foam core layer is coated on both sides with phenol resin. Aluminium can be used as the sheet-metal, while the complete layer can be 70 to 75 mm thick, with a weight of 20+1 kg. per square metre. The thicknesses of the covering sheet-metal layer, the melamine-foam one, the second sheet-metal layer and the core layer can be respectively 0.5, 42, 0.5 and 30 mm, and that of the phenol-resin coating 0.3 mm.</p> |
