A business form intermediate with pressure activated cohesive in separable side margins is otherwise conventional except for the particular patterns of cohesive. The patterns prevent cupping (i.e. flexing or distortion) of the vertical edges. Substantially straight line series of substantially rectangular spots having dimensions about +E,fra 1/4+EE inch by +E,fra 1/8+EE inch, and spaced from each other about +E,fra 1/2+EE inch, are preferably provided, along the vertical (side) edges of the intermediate on at least one face, and preferably both faces (not staggered horizontally, but not significantly vertically overlapping, from one face to the other).
