PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively perform the business, to prevent the input mistakes due to the key input operations and to attain a high processing speed by inputting the written contents directly to a computer. SOLUTION: A reader 10 of each of counters 1 to (m) of the contour departments 1 to (n) can send the contents written on a slip by a person is charge at a counter to a character recognition device 2 placed at a contour office 1. A computer 20 placed at the office 1 can serve as the device 2 by executing a prescribed program. In other words, the characters of holographic data sent from each reader 10 of counters 1 to (m) can be recognized. Then the pen point coordinates are detected for the holographs written on a slip, i.e., a writing medium by a pen to generate the holographic data which show the coordinate change with respect to the elapsed time of the pen point for every slip. These holographic data are transmitted. Thus, the character are recognized based on the holographic data and a prescribed business process is carried out in response to the recognized character strings. |
