PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deflection of resin spacers without using a reinforcing material such as glass fiber, and to prevent the deterioration of the appearance and quality of double glazing by forming reinforcing ribs projected in the external direction from the external surface sections of the hollow long-sized body-shaped resin spacers interposed and arranged to the peripheral sections of a plurality of glass plates. SOLUTION: The resin spacer 2 is disposed along the peripheries of glass plates 1, 1 constituting the double glazing, and the glass plates 1 and the resin spacer 2 are fast stuck in an airtight manner by primary and secondary sealing materials 4, 5. The whole resin spacer 2 is formed of an AES resin at that time, and formed in a long-sized body having hollow structure formed of an internal surface section exposed into the space layer of the double glazing, an external surface section bonded by the secondary sealing material 5 and side face sections tying these internal and external surface sections, and a reinforcing rib 3 is projected and formed in the external direction in the central longitudinal direction of the external surface section. A desiccant 6 is introduced into the hollow section of the spacer 2 as required, and vent holes 7 for communicating a hollow section, into which the desiccant is introduced, with the space layer of the double glazing are formed to the internal surface section at proper intervals. |
