System which consists of a memory unit containing each pre-set journey divided into sections identified by their theoretical parameters and in which the correction curves are pre-established, at least one sensor which is sensitive to curve-type circulation (traffic, movement) and a relative-position sensor whose signals are sent to a control unit which, on the basis of said signals, establishes the variation profile of the actual parameters of the correction curves and makes an adjustment based on the production of the minimum error of coordinate-based profiles obtained from the theoretical parameters and from the actual parameters, determining the actual absolute position of the vehicle.
