The invention describes a thread feeder which is not suspension-type including: a support post fixedly clamped to a sewing machine part; a segmented, truncated and hollow cone which rotates and which is vertically adjustably mounted upon support post, to support a thread spool; segmented, truncated and hollow cone rotates synchronizadly with thread spool when spool thread is extra.
