A basketball basket for water games, e.g. in a swimming pool, a sea, a lake etc. is constructed of a well known ring (1) equipped with a net (2) and fixed on a vertical U-shaped beam (3) which is fastened by its lower central part to a vertical post (4) or a small column (24) mounted on a pedestal (5) which is constructed either as a stand to be put on the bottom under the water or as a buoy (25) attached to an anchor.
