The present invention is related to a strip engraved in relief, which exhibits a design engraved in relief which does not require additional components to emboss design. Design engraved in relief upon strip exhibiting a higher resistance to use and normal wear, wherein strip comprises at least a region engraved in relief, visually perceptible, which forms a patter in particular, employing only heat and pressure, the shape of which can be distinguished by raising or relief thereof, wherein raising differences create shadows and bright points in adjacent regions, causing pattern to be visually perceptible. Likewise, both apparatus and process to carry out design in relief engraving upon a strip, according to the present invention, are described.
