The invention concerns a mooring sleeve comprising a base part (1) defining a cone-shaped inner recess (2) for fixing a cable end. A flat elongated part (4) extends the base part (1), diametrically arranged relative thereto and having a bore (5) for receiving free from backlash a shaft(6) of another linking element such as a yoke (7). The invention is useful for making mooring lines for drilling platforms.
