The cycle carrier consists of a support frame (2), which is supported by the vehicle and fitted with the means designed to ensure that the frame is secure on the rear of the vehicle. The support frame consists of two tubular elements (3 & 4), each formed into a U-shaped arch. The primary element (3) has the lower extremity (3a) and the second element (4) has the rear extremity (4a), which are designed to rest on the vehicle. The front part (4b) of the secondary element is designed to hold the cycles. Each of the two branches (3b) of the primary element is formed into an elbow (5), at its upper part (3c). The parts of the elbow (13 & 14) form the two fixing zones and carry the means for fixing and securing the two elements together.
