A power-saving coating material is prepared by mixing 15-25 weight parts of nephrite jade powder of particle size 150-300 mesh with 75-85 parts of a conventional liquid epoxy resin paint and/or a phenol resin and/or an amino resin. The epoxy resin contains epoxy groups at both terminals of a molecule of linear polyalcohol where 1-5 moles of bisphenol have been linked with 2-6 moles of epichlorohydrin. Also claimed are articles coated with the power-saving material.
