New herbicidal composition comprises: (a) 2-chloro-N-(2-ethyl-6-methylphenyl)-N-(1-methylethoxymethyl)acetamide (propizochlor); (b) a 1,3,5-triazine derivative of formula (I) and, optionally, (c) a dichloroacetamide derivative of formula (II), dioxolane or a dioxolane derivative of formula (III) and a thiocarbamic acid derivative of formula (IV). R1 = e.g. halo; R2 = 1-6C alkyl; R3 = 1-6C alkylamino; X = O or S; n = 0 or 1; R4, R5 = H or 1-2C alkyl; or R4+R5 = e.g. butylene; R6 = e.g. H; R7 = e.g. H or 3-6C cycloalkyl; R8, R9 = e.g. H or 2-6C alkenyl; or R8+R9 = phenylene, glycofuranosylene, optionally substituted 2-6C alkylene or 2-6C alkenylene; R10, R11 = e.g. 1-4C alkyl; or R10+R11= cyclohexenyl; R12 = e.g. 1-4C alkyl.
