The invention refers to a computerised installation for measuring the magnetic parameters of electrical sheet-iron, which allows the main characteristics to be plotted as follows: the dependence of the maximum magnetic induction, as a function of the intensity of the magnetic field, and the dependence of the specific re-magnetisation losses, as a function of the maximum induction. The installation is made up of a measuring unit (1), which consists of an analog part and a digital part, the latter being connected, by means of a serial interface, to a computer (2) with a printer, which transmits the input parameters that define the measuring conditions and set-up instructions to the installation (1). The computer (2) receives signals, which enable the state of the installation and the measured values to be identified, as well as response messages from the installation (1).
