Cold water is traditionally used to clean a toilet bowl or urinal by means of a flushing device. To be completely cleaned, the toilet bowl or urinal needs to be additionally cleaned at regular intervals with chemicals or mechanical processes. To solve this problem, the invention proposes a flushing box containing electrically heatable water and optionally coupled to a device for measuring the temperature, displaying the end of the heating process, stopping the heating process after a predetermined temperature is attained, automatically flushing the bowl or varying the temperature attained at the end of the heating process. Also disclosed are devices which detect or record the water level in the toilet bowl before automatically triggering flushing, which detect if the toilet cover is closed and if people are in the room. Other devices allow using the hot water to disinfect the W.C. brush or to clean the toilet bowl and its immediate environment by means of a spraying mechanism. |
